mim standard

Found a 06-07 model standard for sale. Just wondering if it's worth shelling out $350+ for a used one?

Just me, but I'd say if it's sunburst and in really good condition yes. If it's solid color in really good condion I'd say $300. $350 with HSC......maybe. That guitar sold new for $399.00 your talking about. Just hard to say on the mim's sometimes. I like to trade the mim tele alot and have had several. Im always looking for a deal on one. I've got a 2001 that was sold at a yard sale for $80.00. Gotta 2005 I gave $275.00 for. But I like to trade 'em. If your looking for a keeper and it's a great guitar you'd be OK......Good luck

I'll mention also that though most would think all these mim standard necks are the same specs, they are not. Even if the Fender site says they're all the same, they ain't........If you were sitting at my house I would hand you 3 different mim standards and all have different feeling necks. 2001, 2005, and 2011 all different thicknesses..........If the one in question has a neck that you really like, might be the end of your search.

Jeff

Well prices can be all over the place on used with all the factors like dealer, Craigslist, private party, ebay, ect., but 350 for a "newer" used one isn't too bad. That's kind of the high end but if it is in very good condition, it's a fair price.

Some get a "steal if a deal" at times but you can't use those numbers to base what the used value of ALL of them is.

So is there a gigbag or case ? Is it all original, or have the pups been changed ? Things like that naturally have value to consider as well.

For $70 more you could walk into a GC this weekend (15% off Memorial Day Sale) and walk out with a brand new MIM Standard with warranty and 30 day return option.

You should be able to haggle the seller down to $300. I would only pay $350 if it was very recent, or with a case.

If you can't get this Tele and don't have the extra cash for a new one, then you should be able to find a used CV Tele for less than $300.

Got my nice 2010 MIM Tele for $215 at a pawn shop. I wouldn't pay more than $300.
