Well if that's all it plays, I don't want one. Never was a Jacko fan anyway

ill get some pix soon

its really pretty different than standard stuff

other diffs are....

-no tone knob, but replaced with the input jack
-no neck route at all
-the funky 3 way that sounds like a HB split 3 ways (dont think i ever saw that)
-actually looks like a NICE HB, and really sounds great, especially thru a tube amp
(now im sure the pup can be swapped, but...why?)
-and the neck seems smaller/thinner, kinda 80's bullet-esque

...and picturing Avril playing this is not a bad thing

Is it the old one with the checkerboard pick guard or the new one with the skull-and-crossbones inlay? I like the new one better with it's black-on-black detailing, but they're both not bad looking teles.

Any musical instrument is just that ,no more or less.if it suits you then its fulfilled its function .But dont start dressing up like Avril .She is too sweet for that kind of thing

I'd happily have one - interesting spec tele.

Not sure I'd easily live with the Avril logo inlay in the fretboard though, but even that is not un-fixable - one way or the other ;)

I really kind of like that look. As far as the tone, if it suits what you're looking for, it's great. Personally, I wouldn't mind giving one a try. I've heard interesting things (good and bad) about it, and I'd love to give it a chance myself. I don't criticize anything someone else is looking for in tone. It's all a personal choice.

Congrats on a great guitar!

This guitar looks awesome. They finally made one just like I would do it up. I don't think I could build it for $279 either, gonna have to get this!

Gtrman911 - Congrats on the new guitar!

I like it, and would play it. It looks cool. Might hold back on a 'Hello Kitty' strat though.
