Telecaster Gig Bags - free for the taking!
Hey Guys,
I spent the weekend cleaning out the guitar room(s) and came up with about a dozen Fender Telecaster gig bags that I've gathered over the years. I've pretty well got cases for all my Telecasters, so the gig bags are gathering dust and taking up space. Instead of trying to sell them, why don't I just offer them to some of you guys that may have a need for one. For the most part, these are new, or very low mileage bags. I think I've got two P-Bass bags as well for the offering. Also - I think one of the Tele bags is a RoadRunner bag. No junk. Here's the deal - Shoot me a PM w/ a name and address, and I'll even cover the postage. In return, all I ask that you pay it forward to somebody else. Give the neighbor kid a guitar lesson, offer someone else here on the board the tuners you swapped out and are sitting gathering dust, help an old lady across the street, etc. Just do something nice for someone else. This is kinda my way to pay things forward for guys that have helped me in my guitar journey over the years, and the guys on this board like Ron and others who take quite a lot of time with passing on their knowledge. I appreciate what others do - this is my way to say thanks. Rick (RedTele 58 here, RickyD on the Fender board) edit: Hey Gang - at this point it looks like all the gig bags have been spoken for. Let me match up names and bags and if I have any left, I'll let everyone know. If you sent me a request prior to reading this, I'll get you a bag sent off in the next few days. Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'm just trying to make my little corner of the universe a better place.

This is incredibly generous of you. I'm sure there's some folks out there that can really use them. If you have any left, maybe you could check with a local guitar store...they might have some young financially challenged students who could put the gig bags to good use.

my cat is using one of my gig bags as a bed, currently...
I'll have to de-fur it when he moves to another location as he's apt to do.... a generous offer.. I couldn't accept free postage downunder... cheers...
