Awesome guitar. I love everything about it, but I am especially fond of the neck.

Thanks !!, and sound wise? I know this guitar is more 'open' to country but is it still good to play more crunchy noises or with more gain ? :D

It's the only proper tele I've ever had so I'm not really in a position to compare it with others. But I think it's magnificent.

I have only played one unplugged.

Liked: lively unplugged sound, vintage bridge/saddles.

Disliked: Satin finish, big frets.

It' great. It' Custom Shop Designed and has many features of the more American and Custom Shop releases.

It actually may be curing my Tele gas, because I find I'm having to talk myself into wanting a more expensive hot rod vs. talk myself out of it.

It was my first Tele purchase, and I bought it after researching this site for a couple months. Great guitar for the price, I now have 3 teles and have never owned any other electric. Fun fun guitar all the way around, set mine up with 10's and its perfect for me. Good luck with your purchase and please post pics whatever you decide to buy

They could stamp "Made in USA" on it, throw it in a hard case, and could easily sell the Baja for $200 more than the 52 AVRI. It's a wonderful guitar and a complete bargain, as good as any USA or Japanese Fender I've ever owned.

Agree. Well said.

I bought a tweed case ash tray cover and guitar strap for a little over $100 extra. Total cost after discounts was right at $800.

That's a stretch... the Baja is nice. But, it does not even come close to the build quality, the play quality or, sound quality of an AVRI52. It is what is it. A good solid MIM, worth what it is priced at. Nothing more. It's a very good guitar, but not in the league of the AVRI's.

Sorry... no disrespect intended.

Completely agree, but for the price it's a great guitar with great tonal options. Kept me happy for a year or so before I picked up a Blacktop Tele on a part-ex
