How does the Mare pup sound?
What value are the pots, and how do you have the switch wired?
Great job on it!

Very nice. How does the neck pickup sound? I'm about to put a neck bucker in mine, and I'm conflicted on how to wire it up. From what I've gathered, there's a bit of compromise involved to get the neck not too muddy and the bridge not too bright. Would you mind sharing your wiring diagram? Also, what size capacitors did you use? It's a bit hard to tell, but it appears that one is a 0.1 uF and the other is 0.05 uF.

I bought it pre¬wired, all I did was attach the pups and jack. but I did get a diagram with it though, and it has a few variations too. Ill put it up soon.
That is the correct caps your right. and it sound wery thick and warm....very, I just attached it to the switch were the neck would usually go.
I like it, the middle position is quite special. the neck breaks up a real nice warm crunch and the bridge keeps a clean twang over it.

Sounds good, I'll be looking forward to your wiring diagram too. I bought a Duncan Antiquity for the neck and also have a 10K Mare 0038 for the bridge.
Speaking of the bridge, where did you get yours and how did you age it? It looks spot on!

armadillo make em, heres the thread , theres a link half way down,

http://www.tdpri.com/forum/tele-tech...s-saddles.html

a bit costy mind !. As for aging I used a solution, well a bottle of vinegar with some salt mixed in and left it in that over night, then left it to dry for a day before washing it. I also repeated this with rice vinegar afterward. but i still wish I could have gotten that mustard yellow patina he has over the top half of his

Very cool. I'd like to hear it... Now you just need to get the Catalinbread Formula n5 pedal, and you're set :

Great info! If you don't mind me asking, where did you order the pre wired control plate from?

Cool. In my opinion, less is more for the Keef sound. Tube amp, a little grit ( see Formula 5 ) and that's it. JM $ .02 YMMV

To be honest I dont really use the pedals, I just let the amp overdrive naturally a little through the extra channel.

BYPASS THE NECK PICKUP WITH THE TONE CAP . MAKE THE YELLOW WIRE FROM THE TONE POT GO DIRECTLY TO THE SWITCH TAB WITH THE bridge pickup.
