They've been unloading fenders like crazy.. woman that works there told me they were getting em straight from fender.. but I know for a fact that some of thier instruments are coming from dealers.. the 52 anvi i got from them had some shipping lables on the box.. before it came to me it had been at a dealer in michigan..

Wow...
I was just typing into this thread that hello music has an American Special Tele for 699 (which is a hell of a lot cheaper than I bought mine for) but it sold out before I hit send! These guys have been running a lot of Fenders lately, I agree probably from dealers, but great prices and really helpful service... I'll take it. I picked up a blacktop tele from them a couple weeks ago for my brother and got a real good deal on it plus saved a few extra bucks with a coupon because I follow them on twitter. If you guys are HM fans (as I am) I would def suggest checking out there facebook/twitter pages. They use it to promote specials offers and stuff like that (exclusive product, coupons, etc.) facebook.com/hellomusic twitter.com/hellomusic |

It says on their FAQ that they are not an authorized dealer for any of the brands that they sell which is why they can sell below the minimum prices specified by manufacturers.
If I had not been on a buying kick lately I would have been all over that. |

I've bought a Hofner Club Bass, a Fender CP Jazzmaster, an awesome set of Gretsch Renown 57 drums, a mic, and a few more things from them.
Nothing but first-rate stuff and first-class service as far as I've seen. And amazing prices if you are patient. I love 'em.

Has anyone got one of these or played one? What are they like in comparison to the MIM standards? Build quality, sound, playability etc.
I'm very interested in these, although they're dearer over here |
