hello rocknroll guy. the guitar in the posting doesn't seem to have any identifying lables on it. i suggest that a buyer would have to proceed with caution on that particular instrument. there are hundreds of thousands of instruments out there that have proper identification to choose from. good luck on your search.

Custom Made can mean anything, the fact that there are no decals or makers marks would get me wondering. Any maker of repute is only too pleased to put their name on what they make. It might be good or it might be total rubbish - proceed with caution.

My SX Tele was £59 brand new from a dealer so you can buy perfectly good guitars at this price point. The neck wood does look a bit wierd, but at this price, you will always get your money back if it's not for you.

The neck reminds me of the wood that lower end Stagg guitars have, nothing wrong with that IMO,i had a cheap Stagg bass with a great neck that needed virtually no tweaking over a five year period.I would say that you could'nt go wrong for the price.

Well at the time not everybody was fluent with the art of photography so I could say "hey take a picture so I can prove that we met" i posted a couple short stories on the welcome wagon page and yes I've heard of Beethoven he plays a yellow strat, lots of marshalls with YJM on them and wears leather pants ALL THE TIME

That guitar is a bit of a mystery. Don't like the way the seller describes it as "custom"
Personally i think it's a low end non branded guitar which may be a great player.

No 50's style though. Except for the ash tray bridge plate, tuners and jack socket, it has typical modern features. |

Heheh. I have one of those Chinese counterfeit Stratocasters. It was given to me. The person who gave it to me knew what he was buying, but he disliked it so much that he gave it to me.
It's... okay, I guess. It's nothing I would use for lives, rehearsals, or recording, but it's useful as a guitar that sits out all the time, that I can pick up and play when I'm too lazy to get one of my nice guitars out of their cases. I had to set up the bridge some. The guitar had crazy fret buzz and it has a fat ass neck, which I suppose some people might actually like. |

If it was me looking to buy a less expensive tele copy from ebay, I would be turned off by the looks of the neck wood. I happen to be particular about neck woods. It looks like that "suspect" softer low grade "maple" that comes on a lot of really inexpensive guitars. Doesn't mean it won't play well, but with very little else to go on, I would probably pass on it because of the neck. But I do really like the color, and the ferrules are lined up pretty well.
