TDPRI HQ Moving -- Back to Texas on June 11th

Hi all,
As you may or may not know we're moving back to Texas from Wyoming in about a month. I haven't been mentioning it on the board, but my wife and I have been flying back and forth looking at houses for months now. I bet we saw over 50 houses.

We will be living in Spring Branch, Texas which is a tiny little Hill Country town only 20 miles north of San Antonio.

We put our house in Jackson Hole on the market on December 26th -- and sold it for full price within 5 weeks or so. In March, we moved to a very nice rental house just 5 houses away from our old house.

The new house we bought is very nice and has a nice large lot. The area we bought in is called River Crossing and it's a pretty new golf community that is also on the Guadalupe River.

Between looking at houses, closing on this house and getting everything set up to move in, I have been going to Texas almost every other weekend. Poor Chris has had vastly more duties to keep everything under control. A big thanks to him for his help and patience.

We will load up the trucks here in Jackson on June 8th and move into the new house on June 11th. I just returned from a week at the new house and have already set up the internet access so on the 11th we should be good to go to access the TDPRI and our dedicated server.

This post is just an FYI for you all, so that you know what's going on.

Paul Green
PS. Our daughter graduates from Jackson Hole HS on June 3rd and has been accepted to college at Texas Tech and Texas State Universities. She's been wait-listed for acceptence at Texas A&M. So, she'll be making her final decision about college as soon as she hears from A&M about the wait-list. She's working all summer long as a councilor at Camp Champions in Marble Falls, Texas (in case any of you Texas TDPers are sending your kids to camp this summer -- Willie Nelson's boys and Michael Dell's kids both attend Camp Champions each year).

Paul, I wish you the best to you and your family in Texas. I think that having the TDPRI HQ's near Austin makes Telecaster-sense!

Congratulations, Paul. When I'm in the 281/1604 area I usually take the scenic route back to NB and pass right by there. Very nice subdivision.

There is no such thing as first annual. If it hasn't been done before it can't be an annual event. It would be "inaugural".

Travel safely. Moving sucks.

I'm sorry e-merlin, us TEXANS have our own way of doing things. It's not always right. I just got excited thinking about the Guadalupe, cold Shiner Bock, a Chicken Fried Steak at the Gristmill and Junior Brown at Greune Hall.

Sounds like a great time. A good chicken fried steak is hard to find up here! So is good Mexican food. Sometimes I miss my home town.

Like I always say, Texas would be a great place to live if it wasn't for all of those Texans!

Sounds great, Paul.

Will you play golf in your new community? I, for one, believe Golf and Tele hobbies do fit well together.

I'm disappointed that we never managed to connect during my trips to Jackson Hole (I'll be going back over July 4th weekend). If you need a rest stop near Ft. Collins, give me a call (970) 495-0597 and I'll buy you some coffee at a great little place right near freeway.
I'm sorry that you're leaving Wyoming, but it sounds like you're heart is in Texas. I hope the moves go smoothly and that your daughter get's accepted at the college of her choice.

Thanks again for keeping this little corner of the internet alive!

I just want to echo Paul in Colorado. Oh wait, he did that himself! :D

I also missed out meeting you during my time in Colorado, but like Paul said, thanks for keeping this amazing place going!

Best wishes for a good move and happy college news!

Tim
