Great photos and brilliant to see Redd with the TDPRI tee shirt. I feel so jealous of you guys having access to all these great players. Thanks for the photos.

According one of the recent interviews of Redd in Vintage Guitar, its a Tweed Twin loaded with one JBL speaker and one EV. I presume this is still correct? However the article didn't say if it was high power or low power, so that I'm not sure of.

    Aw shukks

Thanx for coming down to A-town Zane, its always nice to meet another tdp'r 8)
I hope you enjoyed yourselves, those are my two favorite bands to play with these days!

    Hi Fuzzy;

I put that guitar together X'mas day, I can do that now that I'm single!
    That's a Musikraft neck I got off E-bay 1" thick!!! V
    I just shelac'ed it with a rag & buffed.
The body is by the lovely Brian Poe. Its perfect @ 3 1/4 lbs
Mark Jenny painted the body, of course.
Allen Hamel black guard pickups, WOW!! no flames please!
Reissue bridge, sundry parts, ya, ya.

I guess to me its the perfect "TDPRI" caster, cause without Paul & this gang, I wouldn't have known about all the cool parts, or people who make all this stuff or nothin' 8)

So, I'd prolly still be playin' my old raggy "Nocaster"

As far as the amp goes, its a copy of my 58' high power twin. A friend of mine, Eric Borash in Nashville Tenn. made it for me.
Its 80 watts, with a three knob reverb hid in the back. I've got one JBL D-120 & one EV-12L for speakers in it. I love it to death, its a dandy amp.

So NO! Thank You for askin'! Redd

    Thanks for the pictures

Zane: Nice to met you guys on your whirlwind trip to Austin from Cow Town. I have to compliment you on your camera work and the excellent photos you posted. You can see more in your pictures then you can by being there. Note in the background, the pictures of Billy “F” Donahue, Dale Watson, Ricky Davis and some others. What I think is particularly interesting is on the shelf above, a working 8-Track Tape player.

Now, you have to admit that Ginny’s Little Longhorn is a unique place. I really enjoy the piano complement to Redd’s Tele from Mr. Floyd Domino. Even for Austin, a place that sports bumper stickers to “Keep Austin Weird”, this place is something else again. A place filled with a wild assortment of locals, H-D bikers, co-eds, and dress styles that run the gambit from mild to wild. Which leads me to my question – Where are pictures of the 6-foot 3 inch girl in the 3- foot 6 inch outfit. I was watching the camera trajectory and there had to be some pictures of the rest of the local talent.

    Hee, hee, hee . . .

Now I know what you mean by the camera trajectory. I don't think the cameraman could have been any more obvious on some of those shots (Zane ).

Great fun though. When ever somebody says, "gee remember the good ol' days in Texas when . . . ", I'm gonna stop them right there and say , "Sure I remember, it was only last week".

    are we home yet?

just woke up from the effects of the trip. Zanes already told the world. oh well, it was a great fun trip down to Austin to see and hear Redd. Great band with him in the afternoon and Heybale at the Continental was really smoking. And if you are ever wondering where all the pretty girls have gone: they're in Austin hanging out and dancing to Redd's music.

Y'all might have seen me there...I was wearing a beige work shirt with 'Star Bar' on the back, a straw cowboy hat, a Lone Star in one hand and I was with a redhead AND a blonde.
