Post honeymoon with my CV50. First Tele!

First off, please don't turn this into one of those Squier vs. Fender debates.
Second, I've had this guitar for a day short of a week. Not quite sure if that classifies the honeymoon as being over, but it feels like enough time for me.
Third, my own experience with guitars is limited. I'm a newer player (two years) so please keep that in mind in regards to my views.

This guitar was a stab in the dark, only because of the internet did I know anything about them. I picked this guitar up from my local L&M last Saturday after having it ordered since the beginning of December. Oh, the joys of being left handed! You guys are guitar geeks as well so you can imagine how those three months felt. I get the guitar home and my first inspection was just... wow. What a classy instrument! Of course it was the butterscotch one as it was my only option.
I had a checklist in my head to run through when I picked it up.
Small neck profile I had heard much about that should fit well for my small hands... check.
Fretwork felt well done with no sharp edges or buzzy spots... check.
Guitar had good action and intonation... check.
Tuners worked well... check.
The instrument didn't weigh a ton... check.
Would lack of familiar body contours not be a problem for me... check.
Was the jack a piece of crap... check.
A few things to mention at this point: The body was a four piece, but it looked nothing like it. You would have to look pretty close to spot the split down the middle, but the other two joins were flawless. I'll have to post pictures when I can, but someone matched the grain lines between two separate pieces flawlessly. I wouldn't have noticed this if the grain directions weren't flowing opposite directions on the edges.
Plugged in. First to my AC15C1 and then into my Fender Mustang I.
AC15C1: Plugged into the normal channel, clean with master volume dimed as always. All three positions were very clear and articulate with the proper amount of "spank" in the middle. Switched over to the top boost with the volume brought up to make it loud and dirty. Tone cut knob was definitely needed at this point. The amount of treble and twang that came out of this setup was painful, as I expected. Bridge position especially shined here. This was the tone I wanted, at least on the guitar end. The expressiveness of a single coil but with way more balls than a strat bridge pup. Overall, I was impressed with the Tele/Vox combo.
Fender Mustang I: Whoaa. Should a modeling amp and a Chinese instrument sound that good? Almost all of the default presets, minus a few of the metal ones, you could still easily hear a Telecaster coming through. Very impressed.
Also to point out: The volume pot had an excellent taper, and the tone pot actually ****ing worked. First time a tone pot did anything between ALL or NOTHING for me. Left handed pots too!

Sorry for the wall of text, but I just wanted to share my first experience with a Tele and a new favourite guitar.
