Show off your odd Teles
Let's hear about, or see, your nontraditional Teles. Ones that look and/or sound totally different. Be it blasphemy to the Tele, or just some kind of weird pickup, share yours. Mine for example? I am putting Lace Sensors in mine, a hardtail strat-type bridge, and using a solid rosewood neck. Along with a body that might be alder with a redwood top. This thing will not likely sound like a Tele, but we'll talk more about that when I make my post about the finished product.

This was posted a while back in another thread, but what the heck . . .
![]() The neck is from a 3/4 scale SX Furrian. It's a 24 inch scale, so it's very playable (for me, anyway, despite the fact I prefer a 25.5 scale for normal use). The body is purpleheart, and I estimate it to be about 3/5ths normal size (that's a SWAG). The neck pickup is from an Epi Les Paul, and the bridge pickup is the stock Furrian one.
