Have you seen the Antiques Road show? That my friends is FOLK ART! Folk art is worth huge money now,so it must be extremely undervalued at $6000.00, the guy obviously doesn't know what he has! Someone better snap that monstrosity up quick........

WTF, you might as well throw a floyd and some EMG's on it. Just ruined! The vintage value is lost, now it's only worth what someone is willing to pay, which I'd guess will top out at about $1500.

It just proves again, some peoples taste is only in their mouth.

I'll start it off at $20, 'em, make that $15, now we have an offer, we just have to bargain a while. I would play that guitar, almost exclusively, in the dark, in a closet, with the light out, and some rags stuffed around the door, and leave a note that says come back later I'm not home right now.

There is a painting of a dude playing guitar on it. So if you were playing the guitar and somebody took your picture, it would be a picture of a dude playing a guitar with a picture of a dude playing guitar. That has to be worth $6000.

The work looks to be well done. Paint something else on the top half and I'd play it.
