Three pup tele... Show us your pics!

I'm working on a three pickup Tele build/mod. Show us what youve done and tell us what you like/dislike!

I'd love to see what y'all have done with a middle position on a Tele!

::reserving pic for some time next week::

This is a Jerry Donahue modified with two mini humbuckers. The clean tone is awesome.

Nice! I like the double mini-humbucker pickguard. What type of humbuckers?

OK, OK, it's really more like a Strat stuck in a Tele body...

After playing Teles for such a long time, I fell in love again with the "quack" positions, so I'm currently thinking about putting a middle PU in one of my other Teles.

All three pickups are from David Plummer. The bridge Pickup is an A3 "Bell Tone", while the minis are A5. I put one of his full sized humbuckers in the neck position of another Tele I own and it has worked out really well. David does great work and you can find him here:

Man, you are ALWAYS doing this!!

You have the best aesthetic sense of anybody on TDPRI.

I would never have imagined that combination could look so cool!

Ok, my MIM I recently put a middle pup in. Had a lot of help from Phostenix with the wiring;
It's 4-way tele wiring plus Strat quack in position 2
Sounds great and I've not lost any of the Tele switching.

Am redoing some things, but this is a Nashville 3 pup I made. Ash body, darkened shellac to bring out the grain, green stain, and lacquer.

I really like the look on that one! Cool Green tele! How do you have it wired? Is that a blend pot?

Just finished this:

This Tele has gone through lots of pickup changes - LeoSounds Mudcats -> Fender Nocasters (kept the bridge pickup from that set, found the neck PU too bright) -> Fred Stuart neck PU (way too dark and low output for my taste) -> VVG CC Rider neck PU (AWESOME pickup, just didn't mix too well with the Nocaster bridge PU) -> another try with the Nocaster neck PU (nope, still too bright) -> THIS!

Fell in love with the quack sounds on the Strat-Tele-hybrid shown above, wnated a middle PU for that one; didn'T want another Strat-ish guitar, so I went for those weird single coils from AxesRUs in the UK - they are constructed like P90s (Alnico bar magnets & pole screws), but really low output (around 4.8k). While I was doing woodwork on the body, I also routed for a left-handed bridge PU (I LOVE the low string twang of a Tele bridge PU, but always found the high strings a bit too bright/brash - this mod is supposed to "fix" that disparity).

It's too late here to test that new setup at "serious" volume levels, but a really low levels it sounds great - quack positions are there, bridge PU seems a bit more balanced, and the neck PU is clear, but not too bright, and works really well in combination with the Nocaster bridge PU.
