Nashville tele no neck and bridge position

I am wondering if anyone else out there has tried to get the original tele sound ( neck and bridge) on their nashville.
I want to install new pups and when I do I thought I would try a new wiring scheme.
I would like the middle position to be the neck and bridge, is this possible or is there an out of phase/polirity problem coming my way.
Thanks, I sure appreaciate any answer I can get.

in my Mim Nashville, i rewired the switch so i could have the neck/bridge combo...it's now configured as:
1 bridge -2 neck/bridge -3 neck -4 neck/middle -5 middle
works for me !

simple switch

As above, I rewired mine too.
Swap the hot lead from the middle pickup with the hot lead from the bridge pickup where they go to the switch. Then the front 3 positions will be standard Tele, (Neck, Neck + Bridge, Bridge) and positions 4 and 5 will be Bridge + Middle and Middle.
Watch out later though when you start swapping pickups. Different ones have different polarity and phasing, so it can get difficult to get them all to work together in the congiguration you want.

I like the E-Model Megaswitch that Stewmac sells. I use them on my Strats and I'm going to put one in my Heavy Metal Tele. With three single coil pickups it will give you:

1. Bridge
2. Bridge/Middle
3. Bridge/Neck
4. Neck/Middle
5. Neck

I never use the middle pickup by itself anyway, so this switch is perfect for me.

Try the "Joe Wilson" schematic and description on the Seymour Duncan website. It might be what kinda like you're looking for.

Seven way switching rules!

Use the standard five way strat switching scheme, and swap a push-pull pot in that adds the bridge p/u to the neck. That makes available to you the typical "middle tele" neck + bridge option as well as the unique N+M+B sound.
