Hellecaster Tele, which model is it??

I just received the Hellecasters' Live Raw in Germany video. I was totally blown away watching these nuts play!!! I've had their first two records since they first came out but had never seen them play live. They sound almost identical to the recorded versions except, of course, when they stretch out and start improvising.

I was watching John Jorgenson's Fender Telecaster and it had dual metal covered Tele neck pickups and dual Tele bridge pickups!!!; it sounds incredible. Anyone know what it is and how is it wired? Is it really four conventional pickups or is it just something new made to look like that just for fun? With these guys anything is possible, judging by the way they inject humor into their virtuoso playing!!!! Check out that video if you can! I appreciate your input!

John Jorgenson CS Signature Tele. Yes, it relly is 4 pickups, wired for either humbucking or standard Tele operation.

Hellecasters

To me the video is not just some of the greatest Tele playing out there but is just great music on top of it all. It's a perfect addition to their audio cd's in that you get to see who played which parts on the record. Seeing Will Ray is to appreciate him even more for what he does. Really get to see how the ring slides are incorporated into his whole playing style. Didn't reall get into the 3rd cd very much but my listening habits change like the wind & I probably was into something/someone else. I would like to see them get together when they can or is there something keeping them apart that I don't know about? Long live the Hellecasters!!!

I gather that The Hellecasters is a side project for them...

they're mainly studio musicians. John Jorgensen plays bass and sax with Elton John.....it's ironic that he can play circles around Elton John's musical director and guitarist, Dave Johnstone (is that his name?).....that's life.....

JJ

Also plays clarinet, oboe & keys, probably more than that. A world-class player. He used to keep an online journal of his tour schedule & it was incredible the traveling they do to not only shows but to clinics/seminars they all do for the companies they endorse. I used to exchange some threads on their message board several years ago with John & he seemed to just as nice as he appears, answering questions as they came.
