New tuners
Hi,
I am looking to replace the stock tuners on my ash, American Tele. Can anyone suggest a solid, locking tuner that is easy to install and requires no drilling.. Thanks

I just got new grovers for my epi lpj.. tuners are great... but I had to do drilling... however, when I put in new tuners on my tele, I just got Fender OEM F-tuners...
YMMV...

I just installed a set of Gotoh/Kluson locking tuners in a tele neck (11/32'" dia. hole). Can't comment on how they work yet as the finish I put on the body is curing & I can't put everything together until then.

Never saw the need for locking tuners.
Split-shaft Klusons lock the string as well as anything you'll ever find, and don't weigh down the headstock with tone-deadening machinery.
