Dear Fuzzy- re: Esquire Nutter 1

Hi there, I am considering using the Esquire nutter 1 wiring scheme on one of my teles.

Can you 'splain the details of the diff. positions?
Also she's got 500k pots? Will this work OK?
CRL switches seem cheap enough, I will go w/ one of those.

PS this pickup in there is a Duncan Jerry Donohue (which I LUV).

Thanks for everything you do for us tele obsessive wierdos.

Rich

Splainin !

  • First the animation of the switch. As yew kin cee it produces a moving jumper betwixt the posts of the switch.
  • If yew apply each position tew the drawin yew kin figger out watt jumps tew watt.

  • The results are NECK position threw the caps and resistor for a muffled, bassy sound using all caps and resistor.
  • Middle is hot tew lead with tone control.
  • Lead is volume only.
  • Been a while cents I went threw this mess so I hope it werks fer yew and hope my stuff iss still kerrect HEE! HEE!

( Oh, I never done one with 500K pots but it should werk. Mebby jes a liddo different position sound)

Y'all have any idea if this would work with a Duncan Hot Rails? Are there any different values I should use?
