I've overnight-expressed my tape.

I'm joking, of course.

On one hand, it sounds a bit fishy. On the other it has Edgar Winter on the advisory board. Either way, it's just another jumper on to the Star Search/American Idol wagon. I think I have heard enough of this already. I have a feeling this is going to attract waaaay too many Stevie Ray/Clapton/Kenny Wayne wannabes that can't play from the heart becaue they haven't paid their dues.

Don't get me wrong, I hope that they do find some unknown that can dazzle everyone and become the next major guitar hero. Let's just say I'm too old and too cynical to expect very much.

What's next, Opera Idol? Bluegrass Idol? Polka Accoridan Idol? Barbershop Quartet Idol? Billy Idol?
