New FSR Tele with P90's!

Hello,

I scored a new Tele Fsr with great sounding blackdove p90's! This paticular Tele has a ash body and a nice thick c shape neck. The guy at GC told me these are limited and exclusive to GC. My only complaint is that the fret wire's ends are a little rough in some spots. This color is a sunset orange and they also come in black. With the 15% off and a old gift certificate i paid 585.00 for it. I think i got a decent deal?

cheers!

Nice all the way around. The only downside to the Black Dove IMO is the Strat headstock, and they took care of that. Love the colour!

You can dress the frets on your own. Just do a little research and file down the fret ends gently. There is a thread about this on this forum. I think Colt posted the steps.

That's very cool. Looks like a great home for the extra set of Peavey/Gotoh pickups I've got hanging around...

+1

And even if you pay someone to do it for you, it's worth the investment. Once they're done, the problem is gone. I've learned not to let fret sprout spoil my opinion of an instrument. It happens.

Thanks Johnny-Smooth...looks fantastic.

I thought I was losing my marbles, til you posted this.

Not to hijack...but somebody posted pics of the black version of this model...maybe last week...it looked equally cool.

I've searched and searched for that thread but to no avail...anybody know how to find it?
