Got my Hwy 1 Honey Blonde / Maple last night.

And it's pretty cool. I'm not as particular about details as a lot of people are, but I can't find anything wrong with it.

I'm replaceing the steel saddles with some old brass ones that I've got. And I've got my old Duncans ready to drop in. The neck is great. Big, but not unconfortable.

Glad to hear it. I wouldn't hesitate buying one. Gotta love the color too.

I haven't had a chance to try a a HWY Tele. Tried a Strat and liked how it looked and felt. I'm hoping the locals bring in HWY Tele so I can give it a whirl. I keep hearing good things about them.

Unfortunantlly I don't have a digital camera. I wish I did, as this is a great looking guitar...you can just look at it and tell that it's a work horse, chomping at the bit to throw out some good tone.

If any one is interested in these stock Fender pups, shoot me an email. I'm not sure exactly what they are, but I'm not going to use them at all, and I'd be happy to give them to a fellow TDPRI-er that would honestlly use them, and not just sell them off.

According to the Hwy1 Tele parts list on Mr Gearhead they are the same as the MIM '50's Classic Tele !
