my guitar thanks you for the kind words. :D
The pinstriping was done by a very nice Italian guy that calls himself "Blaster" at a HotRod/Vintage car event my band played in Switzerland.

Thanks!

It's the stock white blonde, the same color Fender uses on the custom shop Mary Kaye Strat. So it's apparently the same color that was on the Strat she made famous in the early 50s.

Mine being a MIM, its finish is polyester; the cs Mary Kaye Strat finish is described in the 2005 Frontline (p 22) as "thin, White Blonde nitrocellulose N.O.S.". I haven't found that (MK Strat) model in the new Fender online spread, but there's a great pic of it in that Frontline.

There seems to be a touch of pink in the white blonde. It reminds me of the creamy skin of a very fair complexioned lady. I thought the fresh snow made a nice backdrop for it, but my amateur picture came out a bit dim.

Here's a couple

It's an old picture but they are still a couple of favorites. Have you ever noticed that the shape of the bottom half of a Strat is dang near identical to the bottom half of a Tele?

The Paisley and Blue Flower both date from about '85. They are so similar to my '67 maple neck that I really can't tell the difference between them...with my eyes closed that is. Visually I have found it to be pretty easy to tell them apart.

The Orange-Caster!

Orphan body and Allparts neck finished by TDPRI master luthier Kevin and put together in one afternoon is his house... I love her... In this pic it still has a set of MIM pups that I had lying around. Now it sports a set of BL L-290's: oh yeah.... output and sustain to blow your mind!!!!!

My number 1

This is my first attempt at a parts-caster.

Its got some Squier parts (pups, vol/tone pots, neck), A body and pickgaurd made by my son, a compensated vintage style saddle, and a 3 way selector from 'Caper'.

Soon its gonna get a 1/4 pounder in the bridge!

And my '69 Thinline RI with the new neck I got from Rob DeStefano....

I've also got an Esquire project on the go, but I'm only starting to collect the parts.
