I just picked up Roys new CD , American Axe-Live in 1974. (Borders) I'll save the first spin for later tonight....

More and more people are warming up to Roy's music! daily...lots of my friends that play are going out to buy Roy's Cd's for they're first time... and when I see them agian they all mention how much they dug it!

I have been blessed with a great gift of being able to play alot like Roy. it happened about 26 years ago when I first caught wind of Roy...from that day on I tried to play like him!

I am totally commited to doing the best tribute band to Roy that I possibly can!

Its really coming along great and its so good to see so many of you interseted in Roys music this helps...So my excitment and motavation levels are going through the roof on my end!.

I need it too... cause I got a ton of work to do,
writing out lyrics commiting them to memory, figuring out tunes, making pratice tapes for band mates..etc.. lots of work!

Are you familiar with the Yahoo group Roy_live_traders? The groups is specifically for the trading of live Roy Buchanan recordings. Most every live Roy show known to exist can be had there. We are also starting to find more Roy video than was originally thought to exist. Phil Carson also hangs there. Linda Delu, Fred Delu's daughter drops in. I am tempted to say Tom Principato has peeked in as well as some other notables in the journey that is Roy Buchanan. I don't recognize your name so I am assuming you are not aware of the group. You, as well as anyone else interested in Roy, should check it out. Much of Roy's best work is NOT on the studio recordings.
