NGD! Old Growth Redwood Tele

I am writing this being very sleepy, i had a lot of other work to do immediately after i received a parcel from UPS, 15:00 Stockholm time today in 29th June.
More sensible impressions of this guitar tomorrow, after enough sleep. In short, it feels and sounds good. Now, pics first.

Very nice guitars, the old growth is mighty fine. The LPjr is beautiful as well. Sleep well and congrats

Now when i have played it 2 hours...

Weight: light, as CV 50 Strat!, well balanced, feels sturdy still
Neck: Somewhat like in Classic 60s Strat, thicker than CV 50 Tele, a tad thinner than Baja`s.
Playability: Excellent, just right size of frets, bridge is comfortable.
Tone: Close to CV 50 Tele, pretty, clean, jangly. This said after having played it with VOX VT30 2009 amp, in mostly Fender amp modelling positions. Again, 4x10 position orange sounds best to my ears, like with Baja and CV 50 Tele.

Allow me to show more pics now.

Very nice. Saw Andy play one of those on PGS. How much are these running for? I haven't seen one for sale yet. (I know I could Google it, but I'm being lazy today.)

Congrats, that is a sweet Tele.

BTW I love the name "old growth" redwood. We only have to wait about 500 years for some of the "new growth" redwoods to be ready.

Me neither, especially because the variations in grain are so huge. Just look at this one:

That's a nice guitar. I was between the Redwood and the Flame Top Antique but I pulled the trigger early due to my need for instant gratification. Congrats man!

Don't worry I grew up around were they got the wood. I used to live in cazadero. U can't just cut the trees down u have to get permits and they have to be already dead trees. That's why I really want one. My favorite guitar made from a tree I grew up next to.

After I went through the description of all the Telebration models, I thought this was the most special so I pulled the trigger.

No regrets
