Could you help me on identifying my G&L guitar?

Hi,

I have G&L telecaster guitar. In the head, it says G&L ASAT CLASSIC.
and, serial # is CLF25419.

I have no idea about this at all except for being telecaster.
Could you help me out for identifying this guitar like year and exact model..something like that?

I've already tried to google with G&L serial number system but still I couldn't find any information of it.

thank a lot for reading this and helping me.

Best I can tell, the guitar is post 97 and likely a 2001-2003. This estimate comes from the recorded serial numbers from this site

http://www.guitarsbyleo.com/faq.php3#Q5

There is a gap between 2000 and 2006 but because the guitars are numbered sequentially my guess is it was made somewhere in the previously stated time period.

Alternatively you could take it to a good music store and the guy there could tell you in a couple minutes

Hope this helps

Thanks a lot for your help. I'm guessing now mine is around 2004 ASAT classic special butterscotch blonde. Butterscotch blonde one is in only 'special' line. Am I right?

No no no.. I was wrong. Special line ones have different pick-ups.
Mine is just another finish of ASAT Classic. They called premier finishes. I appreciate it so much.

Thanks a lot for comments.
Mark, are you saying butterscotch blonde is just standard asat finish?

This is the link in the G&L website that shows butterscotch blonde is 'premiere' finish.

I'm confused now.

I found several to be quite the opposite when I spent time there a few years ago.
