QUICK POLL-Goin' with Sonic Blue!!
Ok...now, here's the deal.
I finished the Tele-style body mentioned in the earlier poll in a nice, thin Sonic Blue finish. Should I go ahead, tint, and relic it...or let nature take it's course? It's one of the glassier, smoother jobs I've done, so it'll look good either way. Your opinion?!? I'm gonna try to finish it tonight!!

Relicing should be something that occurs naturally. If you play it long enough it will relic all by itself. And there's something to be said, 20 years down the road, when you can say, "Yeah, that ding happened when some drunk tripped over my guitar." or "that gash happened when I had to fend off a mugger with ole blue" or something to that effect. How lame would it sound to say, "Yeah, that ding I did with a screw driver on purpose to make it look like a cool old guitar."
Either way, pictures please! M

Won't take long, actually. It's a really thin finish and I'm kinda like Mr. Hullett...I like to hack at 'em good!
