1983 Fender American Standard in Lake Placid Blue with TBX tone control
- USA made, Alder body, 1 piece maple neck, 9 lbs (20 years).

2005ish Fender Aerodyne Telecaster
- Japanese made, black, carved basswood body with front binding and matching headstock, P90 neck pickup, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. (2 1/2 months).

2004ish Fender Lite Ash Telecaster (stock photo)
- Korean made, natural finish, Seymour Duncan pickups, 2 piece ash body, birdseye maple fingerboard, 7.5 lbs. (1.5 years)

All vastly different, yet all Teles and all fantastic guitars!!

Does this guitar play surf-verb all by itself? Just wondering.

It looks like you might have the GFS Fatbody like i have in the neck that provides a credible Strat neck tone.
