Whick pickguard do you like better on my CVC?
I didn't care for the mint green pickguard on my CVC.... I tried on a '52 black bakelite and a white guard from a roadworn tele.
Which do you prefer? ![]()

I think I like the Black, especially since you have the white(ish) binding. I think the black guard would get a bit lost if not for the binding.
Actually, a layered Black over white or a BWB pickuard would accomplish a similar look but form a nice defining line around the pickguard. Either way, that is a fine looking instrument! take care, Jason G |

I went with aged white on mine, which has a very similar burst finish as yours, except mine doesn't have the white bindings. Thanks for posting the pics with both plates, helped me solidify white was the right choice for me.
