Lookie what showed up today (TDPRI Tele content)

The Grand Prize from the TDPRI drawing, a beautiful new American HS Telecaster:

And here it is under heavy guard ("Mac," 100 lbs. heavy to be exact):

I'll try to put up a mini-review later, but quick take: it plays great, and sounds very cool indeed! The bridge pickup has plenty of spank (and even quack), and the humbucker is hot. I'll have to play around with the TBX tone control a bit and try it through a few different amps, but my initial impression is that this is going to be LARGE FUN. 8)

Anyway, more later, I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Paul for everything he does to make this place possible for us, and thanks to everyone who took part in the drawing. This is a wonderful prize, and I'm a very lucky plucker. :-) CS

Congrats!

And ditto on your thanks to Paul. We all appreciate this place, and we have Paul to thank for it!

Cool guitar.

And Mac is pretty cool, too! Love that "butterscotch and black" look. Or is Mac more of a "Danny Gatton gold"?

:-)

Cheers,
BK
