Then Maybe I Shouldn't Mention It But...
Joey -- if you're back in love with an old axe, don't even read this, but I thought I'd mention that I've been thinking of trying some hollowbody guitar (335, Bluesbird, PRS Archtop, ES175??) with the Harmonic Design Z-90's that are supposed to sound huge and fit in a regular humbucking slot. See, http://www.harmonicdesign.net/allpages/gibsons.html.
Went into a store yesterday and saw a tangerine-burst Gibson 336 (think of a 335 in a Les Paul shape with the back and sides carved out of the same piece of mahogeny!!). That might make an interesting combo... In any event, good luck with the recording project. Bottom line -- if you've got good musicians and nice tunes to work on, the inspiration will be there. Go.
