The reason I went ahead and booked the jam room is that the "Professor" and Marc H. committed to appear. Marc will handle some of the Bass playing duties and the "Professor" has helped run a couple of the jams we've recently held there.
I also hope to get another guy to help out with the Bass playing duties as well. I have at least one drummer who wants to handle those duties and I may get another also.
I hope some other TDPRI members come. A couple have PM'ed me that they live near the jam room and are interested.

This jam will take place and will not be canceled for any reason. We will JAM!

I've PM'ed those who expressed interest in the other thread.

Here's directions to the jam room:

From the north:
I'd take the Garden State Parkway and get off at the I-195 exit and go west.
Drive west until you reach the Rt. 9 exit and go north towards Freehold.
Drive north for about 5 miles and Freehold Music is in a big shopping plaza on the right-hand side. There's a big panel truck in the parking lot with Freehold Music written on it.

From the west:
Take I-195 to the Rt. 9 exit and follow the same directions as above.

Freehold Music

Just a note that there's a place just a few miles down Rt.9 from Freehold Music called "The Jam Room" (or something close to that.) I thought I'd mention this so nobody accidentally gets directions to "The Jam Room" in error.

Another tip: There are two Rt 33s that cross Rt 9 in the area. One is North of Freehold Music and one is South of it. The one North is "Business 33" and the one that crosses South of it is the bypass and called just "33 in that area.

Address:

3681 Us Highway 9
Freehold, NJ 07728-2671

Tell Weldaar to come over too. If he isn't a member of the TDPRI tell him to join.

There have been concerns raised via PM that one of the forum members may be an "axe-murderer".

Notice: If you are an "axe-murderer" please do not attend this jam. :D

Axe murderer

Ok, so it was me that mentioned the axe murderer thing;
my dear wifey is convinced that I'm in danger if I go to the jam because anyone and everyone on the WWW is a card carrying wacko.
I told her as far as I know, none of youse guys has a card.

No "axe-murderers"- just a bunch of mostly middle-aged guys who like guitars. 8)

Got everything you need. All you gotta do is plug in and start playing. You can bring your own amp if you want. You might have to squeeze in between everybody else's.
You're from New Jersey- what's new?
