Hey Becky, best wishes to you and Bill. Nice to see him hang in there. Always been a fan of his pickups since the late 80's. I need to stop by the shop sometime and visit (and hopefully walk out with a new set for my Telecaster shown below).
Best Regards, Eric |

You folks are truly blessed and like they say, what goes around comes around !
Bill's recovery is in part the Lord's way of rewarding both of you for the great things you do for other people ! I did read the post on the other site and all the stuff that falls out of Bill's head and onto paper will be a TREAT to read ! Guitar nerds, wow what a bunch ! I just LOVE the KS's in my Nashville Tele. A blessing to have him back in business and able to do what he loves, you just can't ask for a better life ! Becky you are a trooper ! |

This is easily the best news I've had all day. Good luck and good health to both Bill and Becky Lawwrence.

Great news! ...and Thank You all for my 2 sets of Keystone pickups ...and the Amazing Q-filter that just TRANSFORMED my latest tele purchase (with humbucker/stacked pickup). I can only imagine how great that must be with Bill's pickups.

I'm glad to hear Bill is recovering, and that you are well, Becky.
Some people strike me as "salt of the earth" types... I had the pleasure of meeting Bill once, in Memphis, in 1988. I was playing in the Blues Foundation's Blues Amateur Talent Contest. My electric was a Gibson L6-S, which was a clear favorite of mine at that time. After I played, I made eye contact with a gentleman who was standing nearby, and said "Hi". He walked over and introduced himself- it was Bill. He was very personable, kind, and complimentary, all at once. Then he said, matter-of-fact-ly, and in a slight accent, "Yes, you know, I designed this guitar for Gibson, and those pickups, as well." I was floored. I told him it was my favorite because of its uniqueness and versatility. He spoke with me, it seemed, for several minutes. It would be many years until I came to realize the extent of this man's genius. But I shall always remember his kindness, and gentle tone. And that he took time to stop and talk with some local long-haired kid he would probably never see again. I'm going to put some of Bill's pickups in my next Tele build. I'll call it my "Wilde One". Bill and Becky, God bless you, and watch over you two.
