Bringing it back to life.

I've had these parts lying around for years and never knew what to do till today.

80's Japeneese tele or tele copy body only with black hardware and only one pickup left, primered and REALLy beat up ---and a mighty mite- V neck. These two pieces left me uninpsired, and I've never tried to build a guitar before. I have taken many apart and put them back together though :D

WEll, today I said what the heck. I drilled the neck holes bolted the thing on and went to work.

hours passed....

When I get home my ol' lady had fashioned a new Esquire pickgaurd out of a piece brown suede and black piping around the edges. And NOW I'm inspired. Tomorrow I'm going redrill the string holes for a chrome bridge and pick up some black vinyl to cover the entire body in, covering the edge seams with a thin tan piping.

Now I'm getting excited. I'll take pics when it's done.
