If this has been posted before I'm sorry but this is getting out of hand here...

Relic Telecaster Rockband controllers.

I don't know why but this kinda rubs me the wrong way.

What, you don't think the original Rockband controllers back in the '50s looked like that? ;-) CS

Name me one player of that game that has been playing it for so long that his controller has naturally reliced.

That's truly awesome. As for "enough", not until people stop buying.

You gotta admit, though - the "correct" F-style B5 is a nice touch...

Yeah.. I remember the original Rock Band and the controllers.... all analogue ... and a Tube computer, it was the size of an Airstream.... the cable from the guitar controller was about the size of a garden hose..

I don't think that's supposed to be spalted maple. I think skanky pine is closer to the truth.

According to the Mad catz' site it's supposed to be a worn butterscotch but that's a little difficult to replicate in plastic.

And how many gameplayers do you suppose will cross over to the real thing, at least for next Christmas?

HAHAHA!

If I played that game more often, I would probably like a cool, tricked out controller... as it is I'm addicted to the Call of Duty franchise (Modern Warfare 2 is addicting when played online).

I bet they already asked to make a sinature controller for the Metallica one. Imagine a black ESP for Kirk and an Explorer for James.

Wait until they come out with Country Cuitar Hero, then you all will want to have these controllers while you play along to Paisley,Urban and Mason

Got me laughing out loud at this one. And I'm with JohnnyCrash - if I played, I'd want a badass controller.

Oh, the same percentage that take up golf, tennis, car racing or drug-dealing based on their enjoyment of a video game.

This thread begs the obvious question ... is there a decent Tele style guitar controller compatible with Guitar Hero on the Wii?

I'm holding out for a maple board. There's no way that rosewood is going to sound like the real deal.

Personally I love it. Guitar Hero made guitar chic again with mainstream, and that has been good for everyone -- the world needs MORE GUITAR. :)

Yeah, I had an old Briggs and Stratton 7.5 horse computer. It was a pull start if you can believe it, but man that thing had tone.

Yep, mine, too. But I got water in the gas once from condensation and it never sounded the same again...

I even changed the plugs over to Autolites and rebuilt the card, but the water just ruined the action.

A Monster Cable spark plug wire would've straightened it out.
