Wildwood '62 thin skin vintage, any thoughts?

Anyone have opinions or experience with the Wildwood thin skin American Vintage '62 tele? How's it sound?, Playability?
Looks fantastic and reasonably priced.

I'm pretty sure this is the same run of guitars that was offered at MusicMachineGuitars.com, and I'm the proud owner of a seafoam green custom 62 thinskin. She's great! I love her! However, I did NOT like th threaded saddles as they wouldn't stay in tune for me. An easy fix was the Glendale Steel replacement. The pups sound very good in my opinion.

Sweet.

I recently acquired a 50's CS MB Tele by DG. But now I have GAS again, but strangely for the 59 thinskin Strat on the same site!!!

I have the 62 Thinskin Custom in Fiesta Red, bought them from Music Machine too (they were part of the same run as Wildwood and Dave's). Outstanding guitar, my understanding is the pickups are similar to the Vintage Tele pickups but they are made specifically for the Custom 62 Thin Skins and the big thing about them is the neck and bridge pickups are very balanced (and they are!). They sound fantastic. Playability is great with the 9.5" radius and 6105 frets. It's about as close to a Custom Shop model you can get without paying the CS price.

Got 1, fantastic guitar.

Mine is white blond, 7.34 lbs and reasonates beautifully.

Wildwood still has some.
I am sure then next releases will have hefty price increases.
Get yours now.

I've been considering those, custom and 52 style at Dave's.

http://davesguitar.com/fender/new/el...ries:thin-skin

I got a 52 AVRI and have had my Highway One for the extremes and to help decide of I ultimately want the Thin Skin radius and frets.

I believe all the Thin Skins are same but Dave's is a day trip for me and the shop seems to have a second to none reputation so I look at the Thin Skins there most of the time.

I didn't know this.
I have a regular AVRI '62 that's a few years old. Great guitar except the bridge pickup is not quite what it should be. The neck pup is really really nice though, at least to my ears.

+1. I have 63 CS NOS and a 62 Thin Skin that cost $1K less. The Thin Skin weighs a little more than the CS model, but otherwise the guitars are pretty much the same.
