My new Agile Tele Copy TC-630

Hello all,
I just pick up an Agile Tele copy
Was on sale last one. I have read some reviews
and all like it for the money I should have it on Friday.
I hope UPS keeps it in one piece because of the Christmas
shipping. Thanks for reading,
Roger

Congrats. Don't own one myself, but I've heard good things about the Agile guitars. Hope you get it in one piece! Be sure to add pics when you get her home.

With UPS you never know. I am lucky that in Canada, Rondo's uses FedEx.

Since you mentioned Fedex, funny story related to them today. I was expecting a package to be delivered. Got a phone call from the Fedex Ground center waking me up at 7:00 a.m. this morning. (I'm retired, get to sleep late!)

Anyway, the caller, identified himself as Fedex , and asked if I would be willing to meet the Fedex delivery driver to sign for and pickup my package because I, quote, "live way out there." I said, excuse me, you're kidding right, I live two miles from the highway. ( thats two miles down a county-owned gravel/dirt road).

I told the idiot I paid for delivery to my door (a new laptop PC for a Christmas gift). He stated he'd tell the driver, and asked what vehicles were in the driveway, I told him, and advised him the house numbers were on the front of the house......

Obviously the driver was whining about having to drive down the gravel road just to deliver one package. When he arrived, I asked if there was some problem with the delivery, and he only replied he wasn't familiar with the area. The printed directions were posted on the package.

Sorry for the thread hijack....had to get that off my chest!

Cool, I bet that will be a fine guitar. This line from the ad made me laugh:

"Todays modern rock calls for a vintage look and great sound."

So, help me out, I don't know....is the Agile BETTER than the Squier at MF for $179? Just curious, and I really have no idea, never played either one.

Yes the TC-630 is better than the Squire I have read it is equal to the Tele MIM or better.
The SX STL50 is better than the Squire and the SX cost less
I have played these two but that is only my opinion.
I am sure other members could inform you better than I.

Just got an Agile TC630 a couple of days ago and can't believe its quality and playability out of the box. Mine came in on Fedex. Mine also had the new "furian" headstock that i trimmed out to a more "desirable" headstock shape.

Roger, let me know if your appointments on TC630 is similar to mine.

Alias,
This was a sale moving out the old head stock ones
It all looks the same except you have a mini humbucker neck pup.
You also have the new version . I do not know if the old or new tc-630
have changed in quality. I hope I will feel the same as you are.
Did you do a set up on it? how are the tuners and did you try to intonate the guitar?
They say the three saddle are tough to intonate I never had a three saddle
bridge before. Let's keep in touch on this. I should get mine tomorrow
it is a one day delivery Rondo is a couple of hours away for me .If I placed the order on Wednesday morning I would have gotten it today but I placed it around 5 pm should see it Friday.

Roger

Congrats! I've not tried one of their tele models, but I owned an Agile LP w/P-90s that was an exceptionally nice guitar--and it was one of the base models, an AL-2000.

Kurt's a really nice guy to deal with. The first AL2000 I ordered came with a mis-cut nut--the slots were too deep, essentially laying the strings across the first four frets; there was no way to tune it. I did the internet exchange/replacement and the UPS guy showed up the day after to pick up the guitar, and another one was at my door a couple days later--no hassle, no questions.

The grover tuners are great and very precise and smooth

They say the three saddle are tough to intonate I never had a three saddle

Funny but the intonation was closer when i had the original saddles on, after i switched to the compensated saddles, now the D and G strings are slightly off

Roger
More or less wondering if the ferrules, cup jack and the truss rod gap at the neck pick up is there.
