congratulations, that is a very special guitar.

Combination of two Godly things, Filtertrons and a Telecaster.

These things will be very collectible I my opinion.

Your not Crazy, Your just one lucky guy

I was looking at this TV Jones bridge for a build ala Cabron.

But I'll probably go with a brass version of this

and a set of pin stripes

Congrats, but why did you get all upset and take a chisel to gouge the back like that.

I think you had better send this one back . . . looks like you got one with a broken pickguard . . . sheesh, you'd think even Fender's quality control woulda picked that one up . . . .

Congrats again - though you may be the "Limey," it's all of us that are green (with envy).

How appropriate that YOU won such a photogenic guitar!

I played it for a few minutes at Paul's house in October, and all I can say is that thing is PROFOUNDLY great! Congrats!!!!

What a guitar! I don't like many modified Tele designs, but that one does it for me. Especial indeed! Congrats!

Shows what I know, eh!

I like the 3 saddle idea. To me, it just needs that. The modern bridge isn't bad, but it feels a little too "technical" on a guitar that is really a stripped-down, rock guitar.

Hey British, congrats on winning. That is such a freakish yet cool guitar. The control plate on the back of the guitar makes me twitch, it's so odd / yet / cool.

I would too. I don't like compensated saddles though, I'd use straight bars, but yeah that would be a good switch.

Great pics! I wouldn't mod it though, even though that is a really cool bridge. The bridge it came with needs some good honest hand wear. I am really happy for you.

Thanks!

That bridge is milled stainless steel - it ain't wearing for no amount of use...

I'm gonna leave it just as it is for now I think, it sounds fantastic and it's mostly me and my illogical love of the three saddle bridge that made me think of swapping it (it's purely an aesthetic thing really). Who knows, maybe I will one day, maybe I won't. Not sure yet...

Friggin' beautiful guitar, you are so dang lucky! I'd leave the bridge as is, that guitar is 1 off custom (afaik) and shouldn't be modified imo. I realize it can be put back but still.

A quick update:

I figured I'd try that Glendale hardtail bridge after all, and guess what?? It didn't fit anyway so this guitar is staying just as it is and Glendale get their bridge back!

Just thought I'd share that.
