Anybody own or played a tomkins tele

How could you not have gas for the green tomkins tele that gary allen plays. i want one. not sure about plunking down a heck of a lot without playing it first. would maybe get a cherry color one to be different.

Pretty sure Redd V has or had one.

If they're good enough for Redd, I suspect they're pretty sweet.

Green is a color that can be sublime or disgusting, just depending.

I had a Strat once that had been done like those Burns guitars: green to black. I hated it but someone saw it and wanted it badly enough to trade me a real 62 RI Strat for it. I did and sold the reissue for double what the greenburst Strat had cost to build. And I did make it clear that it was not a genuine Fender.

What can be really nice is a yellow-to-green burst like a fresh palm leaf.

John Deere Green, Seafoam Green (Fender's SFG is not like GM's later SFG that is a lot nicer, or the Pucci knit dress SFG Marilyn fans may want as it was her burial dress) or British Racing Green can be nice. Some other greens can be "boogery" under stage lights.
