Help Identify this tele for me!

I was in my local guitar shop today and I saw what appeard to be a MIM standard tele, but is was Surf green , with a matching headstock. Best part was, it was the same price as a regular standard MIM. The shop was packed, and I only had a few minutes, so I didnt get a chance to play it, or really invest any time with it, but after leaving the store I couldnt stop thinking about it.

I have tried looking it up on google, but I have only seen an american standard that has teh matching head stock, also the MIA has a rosewood neck, as where the MIM had a maple.

Does anyone here have any info on this tele? or a link where I could check out the specs on it? I didnt see anything on Fenders website.

They are making an FSR MIM std now with surf green body and matching headstock Im sure thats what you saw.

Pics were posted here a couple weeks ago of them.

ahhh, so they are making a FSR MIM tele. I thought it could be that but wasent sure.

Are the specs the same as a regualr MIM std? Alder body/Ceramic pickups?
