Something strange here? USA Standard?
Take a look at this
The seller is adamant that this Telecaster, serial number Z7157708, is just "Four months old", and is an "American Standard". Even if the seller is confused, and doesn't know that the Z7 number may represent an American Series Tele, how come: a. The headstock decal doesn't look at all correct? b. The guitar has a three saddle vintage-style bridge? c. The seller says that it comes with "a gator hard case that fits it perfectly" - why wouldn't this "4-month old" guitar come with the factory-supplied hard case? Am I smelling a rat or do I just need to change my socks?

It's a Highway 1. They come with a gig bag, not a case
This site http://www.guitardaterproject.org/fender.aspx returns this on the serial number: Guitar Info Your guitar was made at the Corona Plant (Fender), USA in the Year(s): 2007 - 2008 |

The head decal looks like a higway one, it fits wiz the 3 saddle bridge but the H1 has a 5 holes guard, not 8 like on the pics. And the price of an american standard in the uk is about 750pounds, so at 350 it's half price for a 4 month guitar.
Maybe your right about the rat! |

Well, he has corrected it.
"On 08-Nov-09 at 14:13:29 GMT, seller added the following information: Hi, a very nice ebayer has corrected my description for me... the guitar is not a standard, and to prevent anyone accusing me of misleading them, the guitar is actually a HIGHWAY 1 Tele (Made in the USA). I have checked this out online and the £550 they retail for is what I paid for the guitar...someone will get a bargain! Thank you ebayer!"
