The Big show your pinecaster thread

Well as the title says, Let's show them, our pine bodied teles and esquires, home made or custom built.

First up here's my "Fat bellycaster"

Made to marry a contemporary look to the earliest prototypes, at the moment of writing the body has recieved the first layers of vintage white.

Then there's the twin of the guitar pictured above, the "Pine pain"

It was my intention of making a pair of matching Pine body teles but I made a collosal mistake with this one and decided to instead make it into a banger guitar in which I could use up loose parts I have lying around. At the moment of writing this guitar is also being finished in Vintage white and afterwards I'll probably give it hot-rod flames.

And finally, one that I had to let go. My SG/Tele hybrid

It had an Oak front and Pine back.

This is a replica of the first Fender prototype solid body Spanish Guitar.
Originally made in 1949 by Leo out of two laminated pieces of Pine.

Better Known as the Snake Head

Made in 1996 for Fender's 50th anniversary #4 out of 50 made

Well Groovy it would appear that we both have the same taste in pinecasters. I hope my Fat bellycaster turns out to be just as cool looking as your snakehead.

I'd love to keep them all,but that ain't gonna happen.....

More PINE !!!!!

Below are some pieces for myself......CAN'T WAIT !!!!

Single P-90 "Plankster"

Ol' 1800 Barnwood 1 piece body

Hey southren I dig your Tele/Paul body, I made one of those myself, although mine had a basswood body.

And I'm still wanting to make myself a Tele/Paul Thinline.

I really need to get some new shots of mine, it's finally going to make it's debut at the session tonight, along with my solid birch Blues jr.

I have some more of this 46 year old pine, now I'm trying to decided what to make next. Another esquire seems redundent, but I really enjoyed building this one and enjoy playing it even more.
