Maybe sometimes it's better that I come across guitars I would love to have but will NEVER be able to afford, rather than come across guitars I would love to have that I can convince myself I can afford.

Seems like I remember a similar rig on ebay about a year ago going for over twice that amount. Heck, might not be a bad investment while waiting for the economy to recover.
