Need help with the guitar identification

Hi everyone! I'm thinking to buy a Telecaster. I found this one that is used. The guy wants $550 for it. I wonder if any one could help me to identify this model. He said this is Telecaster Classic Series 50' Anniversary. But I'm not sure about the shape of the body and the colour. Is this a real model or it's fake.

Ps. sorry if my english is bad.

Does it say 50th anniversary on it anywhere ? Seems like it would.
Plain to see it was made in Mexico. The belly cut doesnt make sense to me ,, on 50th Ann. you think they would not include that. But I am not really familiar with that model. I think I would do some more research on it. Someone on here will know , a lot of smart people on here when comes to Teles.

Seems like a lot of $$ for a MIM Tele, IMHO.

The Neck appears as it should be for a Mexican Tele 1996...looks like it has the oval Gold foil 50th Sticker and the correct sealed tuners...but I would be suspect of the Body in general.

The body isnt the same one that came with the neck.

MIM Fenders have never had a belly cut none of them.

It does look like a nice partscaster.

Email Fender the serial # they have a database of all the serials going back to 1993.

Good for you

I was going to say pass

Build your own. Can you get parts sent to Ukraine?

My son went to school across from the Ukraine Mission on 79th street in NYC

I went there for a art exhibition of Ukrainian relics, not the guitar kind though?

Good luck and welcome to TDPRI

You'd spend almost 2 months salary for a MIM? I love my MIM ,but not that much! Man, the Telecaster situation over there sounds desparate!! Maybe we can get the UN to come in and supply you folks with some Teles!
