What kind of Wood ist this Tele-Body?

The Body Has a Stamp in the Neck-Pocket which says "Made in USA 2007"

There are too many variables to say.

For instance, is it a Fender?

No it's not a Fender Body.

A friend of mine bought it years ago in a Guitar Shop in Nashville, and he can't remeber what kind of wood it is.
The Shop owner told him it is 40-50 years old wood. That's all he can remember.

It is Medium weight.

Its probably Alder but it might be veneered.

Would need better pics to tell for sure if you have it right there compare its neck pocket to these examples see if that helps.
