The honeymoon hasn't begun yet, but here's what I think so far (if you care).

Inca Silver (they were out of the color I wanted), RW FB, P90's. You can see pics and details at the GFS web site.
Pros:
Neck, frets and tuners are nice
Pups are good, not great
Weight is just right
No need to attack the frets, not yet anyway

Cons:
NO set-up
Strings way too high
Intonation off a mile
Had to shim the neck
Neck pocket looks like it was cut with a dull hatchet
Neck screw bent
Fit and Finish is not 100% but it didn't cost $800.00

It will need some playing time to break in, then I'm going to repaint it with the color I wanted, Cream. I'll be real happy if I don't have to take a file to the frets, which has been the case with five out of the eight guitars I have bought recently. All-in-all, it's worth the money.

Groovy!! I've always wondered why they don't do a 'burst or something transparent with the XV-600. Some of their other models have gorgeous finishes.

Here's a pic...not much better than GF's web site. I got a old camera and old eyes. The Rosewood on FB is especially nice, portions of it look like Burl.
