Correct allen-wrench size for MIM Standard tele?

I 've probably answered this question before for other TDPR's, but I am now nervous as last winter I cracked my MIM Squier between the nut and the access hole when trying an adjustment with an allen-index...yeah I know, I should taken the strings off and used a single allen, but in the heat of the moment...

I'd like to purchase...and MARK...the proper allen wrench for neck adjustments on my and my son's MIM Standard...whadda I get???

Thanks a million, guys!

Allen wrenches are cheap ...............buy a set of SAE wrenches. Mark the one that fits. You will probably need the others for something sometime.

Close, but...

I borrowed on from a local store today...its a 3/16" allen.
The one I borrowed had a ball end which was great, as you can't quite get it square in the hole otherwise.

I suspect Stew-Mac must have these...

heh

I was just adjusting my MIM Tele, too, 10 minutes ago. The things is, I steal all of them from my dad's tool box and keep cramming them in the slot till one fits and turns. not a very sophisticated method.

Oh yeah...thanks Bill!

3/64" would be a tad bit small

Just ordered one at StewMac

Couldn't find any here in Italy (you can find only metric wrenches here), so I've just sent an order to StewMac, a complete set of 11 wrenches (including that 3/16") with that fine ball-end for a few bucks. Together with a 3-ply blackguard for my sunburst Standard MIM. No affiliation, of course
