Jim Campilongo signature CS Tele in 2010!

Straight from Jim's mailing list:

"The Campilongo Signature guitar will be available from Fender Custom Shop in Jan 2010. Custom color orange will be available. It's a Toploader Tele with some nice features. I'll have online info about the guitar asap."

Woo hoo! Sounds like I'll be looking forward to Winter NAMM after all!

T.S.

I saw the e-mail first thing this morning.

Jim, how about "leaking" an advance photo?

So awesome. A signature model for a true artist.

I only wish I had the funds to make such a purchase. I can't imagine it will be affordable for a working stiff like me.

Not a prototype cause his sig guitar as the bridge sides cut and that one looks just like any vintage tele bridge.
It looks just my Classic 50's, except the top hat switch tip has you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSFmfaprp0o&NR=1!
Maybe Jim itself could come here and tell us some more.

It can't be a 50's Classic, or it's one with a different neck: look at the dot markers at the 12th fret, the position of the logo, the string tree.

Maybe this prototype has a different bridge or it's just my eyes!
