Well went to a local music store, after missing 3 times the small blues section, I finally found it, and they had a copy of White Sugar. All I can say is WOW!

Very, very good. I hit youtube as soon as I finished reading the Guitar Player article. Great article on a great player. Looking forward to getting my copy of White Sugar. Good work JST team , getting a guitar in her hands.

So, my question is: WHO put the pedal on the guitar?

Just got my copy of this cd. Wow! Great singing, playing and superb tone. This will be in rotation for a long time.

Great JST is playing in Devon next month (Nov 19 2009 - Exeter Topsham Globe Hotel).

I will definitely have to pop across the border for the night.

I just discovered Joanne recently after a link on another site mentioned her. YouTube was my first stop, but I moved very quickly to iTunes and downloaded the full contents of White Sugar. It is now in regular rotation on my iPod.

I love her guitar playing, but her singing is fantastic, too. REALLY fantastic!

I hope that she'll make it to Atlanta soon...that would be a "must see" performance.

Just downloaded the album off Amazon. Ayup loov! Yau'm bostin'! I really thought I was listening to some wunderkind from the heart of Bluesville & loving every not of it. Then I find out she's a tele fan. Then it turns out she's from 25 miles away from where I was born! I hope she does well; she really deserves it. She's got the lot.
