Nocaster (Final) Impressions
A month or so ago, I picked up a Nocaster Relic on eBay. I posted a few of my initial impressions of the guitar and the neck here.
After much thought, I've decided to part with the guitar rather than alter the neck or put a new one on it. The guitar is too beautiful as it is for me to mess with it, but I just have not had a lot of luck getting comfortable with the neck. Whenever I pick it up, it always takes my hand some adjustment, and it's just never quite felt like home. That said, I don't think I've ever picked up a guitar that feels quite as amazing at this one. It's difficult to explain. It almost feels like it has a power of it's own. So, rather than mess with the Guitar Gods, I'm going to offer this up to someone who will enjoy it more than I can. I checked the FAQ and it seems a tasteful link to an eBay auction is okay, so here goes: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=230363567702 I've learned a lot from this board and would prefer to sell it to someone on here.
