Banjo arm rest mod!

More bling! Eight bucks on eBay can take a drab, lifeless guitar guitar like mine and turn it into a hillbilly sensation by adding the '40s equivalent of curb feelers on your '72 Marquis Brougham.

I've thought of getting one for my Taylor acoustic. Will the guitar still fit in the case? because it looks like they would be a pain to put them on and take them off every time I gig.

Just the leather makes this a gig bag only instrument. I don't plan on removing it...but some of the acoustic arm rests just slip over the body, and are meant to be removed.

Check out the John Pearse armrests. They are available in Rosewood Ebony and Maple in a range of profiles.I have one on each of my acoustics (dreadnought, jumbo & OOO28) and all cases close with no problem.I sourced mine from elderly instruments.

My Tele-bass HOSS has a banjo armrest as well as leather around the edges. Very cowboy!
