Just went on their site to order a road worn tele at full price - when I clicked on it I noticed it was $650. So I looked at all teles - ended up ordering a '52 reissue hot rod in black for $1279 - not a bad deal.

I think all their fender stuff is discounted only for today for anyone that is interested.

I think it was a screw up - I immediately purchased the guitar (in black) when I saw that price. Apparently my purchase went through, because I received an order confirm e-mail with the $1279 price on it. But I just went back on the site and now the price is $1900+. So I (hopefully) got one past the goalie. A new 52 AVRI HR for <$1300 - even though black was not my first choice - seems like a pretty good deal.

i read johnny morales' comments today and i have bought alot of items from zzounds over the years...a first rate operation in my opinion...

johnny that price is legit...i called and asked and they said so...

i am not in need of a guitar so i ordered one of their '57 tweed champ reissues instead...

i should have it tomorrow...

i am so pumped i cannot even tell you

I was on the fence between the Road Worn for $650 and the AVRI '52 HR for $1279 but I figured I couldn't pass up the deal on the HR (plus MF just had the $500 deal on Roadworns so I figured that might surface again). I hope I made the right decision!

The HR Deluxe is a steal at that price. I was also thinking Road Worn or HR, but I played both at Guitar Center and there was no comparison for me.

I got an email ad from them today which appeared to have "everything Fender" at a 10% discount from their normal pricing.

I was on the site today and saw Roadhouse Strats for $439, when i clicked on it to buy, it switched to $629. I called and they honored the $439 price, although i havent received a shipping notice yet.

[Hey Johnny I tried to get the hotrod for the 1279 and it was marked up to over 1900.. I called zzounds and they said if I could get them an order number from your order they would match it..
They said they will honor the price tell the hot rods are gone or end of day

The same thing happened to me there.
